We are a creative agency specializing in brand identity, interactive and print. We partner with clients to understand their business, identify what makes them unique and bring the vision to life through inventive, timeless solutions. There is openness in our approach and diversity in our solutions.
We believe in collaborating with clients to unearth core truths that define their brand.
We believe in asking the right questions, rather than knowing all the answers.
We believe creativity makes the complicated simple.
We believe beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.
We believe change is good.
Established in 2004, PS New York has cultivated a diverse and extensive client base within the architectural, real estate and cultural communities. In partnering with clients to define the essence of their brand, we listen and question, absorb and challenge. Out of this dialogue, we create inventive, timeless solutions, strengthening a brand’s voice and connection to its audience. We establish collaborative, communicative relationships with our clients. To use their words, our clients have described PS New York as “fresh, smart, nimble, focused and original—a delight to work with.”
Penny Hardy, Founder
Penny has almost twenty years of experience collaborating with clients to define their brand image in the public realm. The success of her projects grows out of the principle that powerful communications are rooted in ideas, inspired by a deep understanding of a company’s essence. Her creative solutions take a variety of forms – logos, advertising, promotional materials and websites – but they all stem from a passion for clear, enticing communications.
Prior to founding PS New York, Penny worked in a variety of advertising agencies and design boutiques. As a Creative Director at Euro RSCG MVBMS Circle, Penny guided New Balance and Volvo to successful branding strategies in the interactive medium. Prior to this, she was with Agency.com, where she collaborated with clients such as Gucci, Mossimo and Sprint. While at 2X4, she created books, videos, promotional material and identity systems for the likes of MOMA, Knoll, The Asia Society, and The New York Times Magazine.
Penny received an MFA from Yale University where she was awarded the Bradbury Thompson prize. She has been selected as a judge for the One Show and guest critic for Yale University. Her work has been published and awarded by the AIGA, Print, Communication Arts, Output and BitxBit.
