Living West
Living West highlights the varied, contemporary architecture in Southern California. Seizing upon the opportunity to build on expansive open spaces with new technologies, these firms have created innovative structures, built in locations that were once deemed impossible. PS designed a framework for the book based on horizon lines. This simple structure alluding to the expansive space in the West, provides a cohesive experience for the viewer, weaving together the varied projects of the book. Architect's Newspaper called it out as “one of the most intriguing, compelling, seriously gorgeous, data-driven, cool, and fascinating books” of 2009.
