Theater of Architecture

Featuring 20 of Hugh Hardy's projects, spanning his 5-decade career, Theater of Architecture explores the relationship between Architecture and Public Space. Creating a rich visual dialogue between Hardy's thematic text, project photographs and client interviews (by Mildred Friedman), the book was praised for pushing the typology of a monograph: “This book is further proof that the architectural monograph is far from dead; it is just evolving into something more than simply rote presentations of projects.”
